/// EXHIBITIONS ///

I did two exhibitions so far in Barcelona, both are from the collaboration project /// "ARTE SALVAJE" ("WILD ART") /// with Ripping Magazine, Black&Rad (Black Media) and Sant Jordi Hostels.

Sponsers like "BCN WAX", "ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK", "MORITZ BEER" and "T-AGGED T-SHIRTS" were participating.

 It's all about the wildness of my art and my character I use to express with my painted boards. I want to transmit you the passion I feel going in each detail of my illustrations. It's like a journey into a jungle feeling the force of animals, nature, sex and passion.

I like to get the boards out of their normal environment like the beach or the ocean and to make art out of them. I give them a new life as art pieces.

Here you can see more in detail the three leading Boards of the Expo:

Another step of my art expression is to make pictures of myself and the boards, painting them or already finished. Normally I use to do the pictures on my own like also my videos, but this time I let this work in other hands.

Sebas Romero, the photographer of the Black Media Crew from Barcelona did a really great job capturing my inner passion for my art. You can see the end results of the shooting here:

David Botello, photographer and owner of Ripping Magazine, also did a portrait shooting of me with the boards in process painting them at home. Check it out here:

To promote the project, Mito Echevarria from the Black Media Crew filmed me painting the boards and wearing the t-shirt with one of the Board Designs on it wich we raffle on the event. The folklore band "All Indians New Chief" from Barcelona, gave us one of their unplugged songs for the edit. Watch the video here:

You can see in this whole art story my psychedelic inspirations and the love for the detail which is a essential part of my art.

We did the inauguration of the event at the Black&Rad Square, where Abel Melkonian, the art director of the Black Media Crew, did a fantastic job composing the boards and photographies at this special place.

It was a really big party with the double of people we expected (about 300 persons). As surprise, I painted a Custom Board for the Black&Rad Boys and a portrait Board for David Botello. I gave it to them on the event after my public speech thanking them for their grat support.

Have a look on the Custom Boards!

The second event and exhibiton of "Arte Salvaje" was at Sant Jordi Hostels. It's a really cool open mind skate hostel in Barcelona with a mini ramp inside of it.

We had a lot of fun with about 300 persons from all around the world, live music, showing the video of the project, explaining the concept, telling the whole story and doing a great raffle with costum t-shirts of one of my board designs (the skull mandala), and more cool gifts.

After the event, the exhibition stayed in the hostel for about 2 months, and the "Fox Board"will stay there forever, to show my gratitude to Sant Jordi Hostels for giving me support, and also on this way more people of different countries can see my art.
